Renting with pets

Referred to us by a leading multi-family office, our client had been struggling to find the right home for her family and their several pets. With her son due to start the new school year in London, the pressure was on.

We took the pain out of the process, using our industry relationships to dig out potential options (understandably many landlords are reticent about taking on tenants with pets), previewing and discounting several which turned out to be too tired and arriving efficiently at a shortlist of well-finished properties with appropriate outside space close enough to a park for twice daily dog walks.

From this shortlist our client set her heart on an unusually lateral house between Holland Park and Kensington Gardens so we cooperated with the lettings agent to agree terms with the ex-pat landlord as quickly as possible, allowing his contractor enough time to redecorate before our client’s family moved in just over 2 weeks after our initial meeting.
