An unusual corner property over the lower ground and ground floors with a prestigious Mayfair address. The owners, a young family of four and their three Daschunds, returned to the UK after 10 years abroad to embark on a complete renovation project in order to create their dream family home.
We were appointed 3 years into their process, having already progressed a scheme which has partial planning permission. Our clients came to us feeling that there wasn’t clarity on cost from their existing team and so asked us to review and advise them on the scope of the project, utilising our market knowledge to appraise the value of the proposed works.
A particularly complex project involving Grosvenor consent, extensive subterranean excavation and the adaptation of existing vaults space, we also advised on the undertaking of a full set of surveys (e.g. drainage and asbestos) and the appointment of a full project team (including quantity surveyor, services consultant and structural engineer) to take the project forward with the client’s budget parameters at the core.
