Man about town
Born in Europe, raised in the US, our client had recently decided to call London his home. His apartment exuded old-school grandeur – a Grade II white stucco beauty with vast ceilings and a dominant staircase. We had to find a design style that complimented the majesty of his home but gave voice to his youth and vivacity.
We invested time with him at trade shows and in galleries, and that style soon evolved: urban, masculine, luxurious. Exposed brick work and Manhattan-style cleat shelves exuded an industrial loft style, counterpointed by rich velvet upholstery, cashmere and linen drapes and elaborate antique chandeliers.
“I’m probably not an easy client. The team did a great job of understanding my personality and helping me define my style.”
