Having identified its potential, our search team secured this apartment for our client before handing over to our design team.
This was to be our client’s first home of his own in London and having found the perfect shell, we were delighted when he called on us to translate and develop his vision for a cool but welcoming space in which to entertain friends and family.
- Stripping back the “developer” finish to reveal the beauty of this classic first and second floor apartment.
- Connecting the New York loft vibe loved by our client with the property’s period architecture.
- Bringing a sense of space to a smaller kitchen (with comparatively low ceiling heights).
Utility and style were combined in specially designed joinery (a dressing room, a media unit and a stylish bar area). Using the carcasses of the existing kitchen, we added reclaimed wood facades and clever lighting for an arresting new look. Continuing into the reception room, a wall of exposed brick reflected our client’s love of industrial styling, contrasting beautifully with an antique chandelier.
