The dispute arose during refurbishment of a beautiful house in Oxford. Our clients had instructed an architect (who was also a personal friend), and a quantity surveyor recommended by him. The owners became increasingly concerned that there was a lack of evidence for the amounts paid and so asked us to get involved.
We collated a team of trusted professionals including a construction lawyer, a highly respected quantity surveyor and building surveyor. Together we identified any outstanding issues with the building and drew up a final account using evidence already provided.
We continue to act as client representative, communicating directly with the architect, builders and newly appointed professional team to complete the refurbishment.
