Boys and their toys
A single father with a busy career in finance, wanting to create a home where he could have adult fun with his friends and enjoy playing guitar, but also ensure that his two young boys felt at home.
We needed to create different spaces for adults and children within a very open plan layout. The client brought no furniture to this West London warehouse-style flat so we had to start from scratch.
The apartment soon took on an eclectic rock’n’roll style full of small collectables, vintage toys and sporting memorabilia. The little boys’ spaces were both child-friendly and creative: vintage school chairs were counterpointed by neon signs with the boys’ initials.
“RFR created exactly what I wanted: a lovely apartment for two generations to play in.”
